NVON brings together organizations who are members of the Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW ) to promote friendship and understanding between member organizations for better communication in the United States and the World.

• to promote the well-being of the individual and the family.

• to bring about a better understanding of the relationship of the home, community, state, nation and the world.

• to speak for and further the interests of the member organizations engaged in service to families and communities.

• to coordinate activities and disseminate information relevant to the Associated Country Women of the World ( ACWW) and the Country Women's Council U.S.A. (CWC).

• to distribute Land Grant College and University research based educational information.

• NVON is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
